Salary: $75,000 - $85,000  + potential year-end bonus

Savvy Creative Agency is looking for an experienced full-time Packaging & Graphic Designer with strong packaging design experience to create elevated design concepts for luxury press mailers, high-end brand experiences, event creative, and overall company design needs.

This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role for a designer who is highly creative, extremely organized, responsive, and able to move efficiently from concept to execution. Our projects are often time-sensitive and require someone who can communicate clearly, manage priorities, and deliver strong work independently.
This role is hybrid and requires candidates to report to our studio in Van Nuys, CA 2–3 times per week, with occasional collaboration with local fabrication partners. Candidates must currently live in the Los Angeles area and be able to reliably commute.

You can manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, design rounds, timelines, and vendor/client feedback without things falling through the cracks.

Detail-Obsessed
You understand that small details matter, especially when designing for luxury press mailers, events, and global brands. You are careful, thoughtful, and thorough in your work.

Key Responsibilities
The main duties of the Packaging & Graphic Designer include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop creative design concepts for luxury press mailers, event design, client presentations, internal brand materials, and other agency design needs
  • Present initial design concepts and project decks to the CEO/Creative Director and internal Savvy team
  • Create polished presentation decks, renderings, mockups, dielines, layouts, and production-ready files
  • Design within each project’s creative direction, brand guidelines, requirements, and goals
  • Manage multiple design projects at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work
  • Create mechanical files for release to printers, fabricators, vendors, and production partners
  • Support the proofing process and review designs for accuracy before production
  • Collaborate with the Savvy team on active client projects, design updates, proposals, and timelines
  • Attend in-person team meetings at the studio 2–3 times per week
  • Join client meetings with the CEO/Creative Director when needed
  • Come prepared for internal meetings, client presentations, and project deadlines
  • Communicate regularly with the team through Slack, email, and project management tools
  • Provide timely updates on progress, questions, delays, and feedback
  • Work virtually when not in the studio to complete design requests, renderings, proposals, and project deliverables

This Person Must Have:
  • 3+ years of graphic design experience
  • 2+ years of packaging design experience
  • A strong portfolio that includes packaging design, print design, presentation design, and/or brand design
  • Experience designing for luxury, beauty, entertainment, lifestyle, tech, hospitality, or consumer brands preferred
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • 3D rendering experience
  • Experience with packaging dielines, print production, mechanical files, and vendor-ready artwork
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to respond promptly during working hours
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced creative agency environment
  • Willingness to work hybrid from our studio in Van Nuys 2–3 times per week
  • Must live in the Los Angeles area and be able to commute to Van Nuys, CA
  • Adobe Dimension experience is a plus.
