After months of planning a launch event for my client, her schedule unexpectedly changed and she was going to have to cancel the event. Here’s the deal with events, once you’ve dropped deposits on key elements like your venue and suppliers, you can’t recoup that investment. Instead of cancelling the event, I proposed changing the scope of the event – “what if we partner with a non-profit and host a group of deserving your women?” My client and her team loved the idea and instead of cancelling, a beautiful partnership was birthed.
After conducting outreach to local non-profits we found the one! This summer our client hosted 120 young women, their parents, and the amazing staff of Step Up Women’s Network with the swankiest soireè at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills.
